Five tips for Keeping your Bathroom Bacteria-free this Holiday

With the festive season here, it is necessary to do a quick spring clean before guests arrive for your annual house gathering. But aside from fluffing up the throw pillows or trimming the tree, there’s one other important room that every guest would notice – the bathroom.

The washroom might not rank high on a hostess’s list of areas to smarten, but it is that one space in your home that needs to be sparkling clean and bacteria-free for the comfort and safety of your guests.

Here are five easy ways you can spruce up your bathroom and keep it bacteria-free to meet the standards of even the fussiest of visitors for the holidays, and every day of the year:

1. Wipe down mirrors.

Start with high visibility areas – such as the bathroom mirror! Chances are, most guests will check themselves out in the mirror when using the loo, and would notice visible smudges and stains.

Just dip it into your cleaning solution – we suggest two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice with four cups of water – and wipe your mirrors clean. Use another fresh filter to make them dry and shiny!

2. Clean the faucet.
